The Incident

• Price Dispute: A registered nurse visited the salon expecting a $50 service as advertised. However, the owner, reportedly demanded $130 (1:32-1:40).
• Physical Confrontation: When the customer reportedly questioned the price, the situation escalated into violence. The alleged victim reports that the owner yanked her hair and neck and rifled through her purse! (1:43-2:00)
• Aftermath: The customer later reportedly sought medical attention, with doctors allegedly confirming an aggravated spinal injury and permanent hair loss (3:13-3:20)

Investigation and Outcomes:

Regulatory Response: The customer reportedly filed a complaint with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). The agency closed the case, stating the matter was “civil in nature” and outside their jurisdiction (3:22-3:49).

Legal Charges: Temple Terrace police investigated the incident. While felony charges were initially considered, the state attorney’s office reportedly charged the salon owner with misdemeanor battery and criminal mischief (4:12-4:20).

Current Status: The salon owner declined an on-camera intervievw and labeled the customer’s claims as false (3:55-4:01). The criminal case is currently proceeding
