Four Army Service Members Onboard Helicopter that CRASHED in Washington State

REPORT (KOMO): Four U.S. Army service members were onboard a Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) helicopter that crashed in the Capitol Forest Wednesday night, according to U.S. Army officials.

The MH-60 Black Hawk helicopter was on a routine training flight when it crashed in the Summit Lake area of Thurston County, west of Olympia, U.S. Army spokesperson Cynthia Smith said.

U.S. Army officials called the crash an “aviation mishap” that is under investigation. Officials did not provide the status of the service members.
