Notorious Serial KILLER Robert Pickton Fatally Attacked in Quebec Prison

Robert Pickton, the notorious Canadian serial killer who murdered numerous women and disposed of their remains on his pig farm in British Columbia, died after being assaulted by another inmate at Port-Cartier Institution in Quebec.

The 74-year-old Pickton was serving a life sentence for six counts of second-degree murder, though he was charged with killing 26 women and claimed to have killed 49 victims in total.

The assault on Pickton occurred around 5:15 pm and he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. A 51-year-old inmate was taken into custody as the suspected assailant. Pickton succumbed to his injuries with authorities confirming his death and notifying the victims’ families.

Pickton’s crimes, which involved luring women from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside to his pig farm in Port Coquitlam, had a devastating impact on communities across Canada, particularly Indigenous peoples and the victims’ families.

The remains or DNA of 33 women were found on his farm, and he reportedly confessed to an undercover officer about killing 49 women in total.
