Ohio family on Disney World trip terrified when bullets tear through their AirBnB.
A family from Northeast Ohio experienced a terrifying ordeal during their Disney World vacation when gunshots rang out near their rental home in Kissimmee, Florida.
The family of 14, including 5 children, had reportedly enjoyed 5 days at the Disney parks when they returned to their rental home on Friday night to find a large crowd and cars blocking the street.
After police dispersed the crowd, gunshots erupted around 2am, which a family member described as sounding “like fireworks.”
The shooting was the result of a house party at a neighboring rental property.
The visitors from Ohio expressed concern over the lack of security that allowed hundreds of people to gather at the rental community in the middle of the night amd advises families to thoroughly research rental homes before booking to ensure proper safety measures are in place.
While the family was unharmed, the traumatic incident marred what was supposed to be a dream Disney vacation.
