Influencer arrested for firework incident with Lamborghini
A social media influencer with 1.2 million Instagram followers, was reportedly arrested and faces federal charges for directing a viral video where fireworks were shot at a speeding Lamborghini from a helicopter.
The incident reportedly occurred at the El Mirage Dry Lakebed in San Bernardino County, California.
He is charged with causing the placement of an explosive or incendiary device on an aircraft, a misdemeanor unless proven to be done willfully and without regard for human safety, in which case it carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison.
The video titled “Destroying a Lamborghini with Fireworks” showed two women in a helicopter firing fireworks at the luxury car.
The Federal Aviation Administration has reportedly revoked the helicopter pilot’s license due to the stunt. The influencer reportedly appeared in federal court on and was released on a $50,000 bond.
