‘What do you mean, the tower is gone?’: Brazen thieves steal 200ft structure from Alabama radio station

A radio station in Jasper, Alabama, was left speechless after crooks stole their 200-foot tower and AM transmitter in a brazen heist.

The theft was discovered by a shocked landscaping crew who noticed the tower was gone from its usual spot in the woods behind a chicken factory.

The culprits had cut the wires and hauled away the tower, along with the transmitter from a nearby building.

The station manager alerted the cops, who were baffled by the daring crime. The FCC shut down the station until further notice. The station is working with the feds to get back on the air.
