A woman has been accused of leading an $8 million retail theft scheme, targeting beauty retailers such as Sephora and Ulta.

She allegedly recruited individuals to steal high-demand cosmetics in bulk from these stores, which were then sold on Amazon at lower prices.

The recruits, some of whom were young women, were paid to steal the products, and the stolen goods amounted to around $8 million.

The theft ring sourced their stolen products from multiple retailers, including Sephora and Ulta. The leader would pay her underlings from the profits of the sold stolen products.
