SLOW DOWN OR ELSE! Speeders Could Have Limiters Installed On Their Cars For Life [VIDEO]

Persistent speeders in D.C. could potentially have limiters installed on their cars for life, as per a report by Jalopnik.

This would make it illegal for offenders to drive any vehicle without an Intelligent Speed Assist (ISA) system.

The ISA system uses GPS data to adjust a vehicle’s top speed to comply with the posted speed limit.

A similar approach is being considered in California, where a bill has been introduced to mandate speed limiters on all new cars sold statewide by 2027, set to 10 miles per hour above the speed limit.

However, drivers would be able to temporarily override the system, and emergency vehicles would be exempt.

This initiative is aimed at reducing the high number of annual deaths related to excessive speeding in the U.S.
