The trailer for “Deadpool 3”, officially titled “Deadpool & Wolverine”, has been released, introducing the character Deadpool, played by Ryan Reynolds, into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The trailer reveals that the Time Variance Authority (TVA), a multiverse-hopping organization from Disney+’s Loki, will play a significant role in the film.
The trailer begins with a birthday party for Wade Wilson (Deadpool), which is interrupted by TVA agents who enlist him on a mission.
The film will also feature Hugh Jackman, who comes out of retirement to reprise his role as Wolverine.
This marks the first time a character that originally appeared in movies made by 20th Century Fox will star in a Marvel Studios film.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” is also Marvel Studios’ first R-rated movie.
