In a horrifying act of road rage, a woman was shot in the head while driving with her husband on Interstate 595 in Davie, Florida. The couple, who were celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary, described the ordeal as feeling like they were “hunted like animals” by the driver of a black Dodge Ram pickup truck. The terrifying incident unfolded just before 8 p.m. on Friday night when the truck aggressively approached their vehicle at high speed.

Despite their attempts to avoid conflict by changing lanes, the truck pursued them relentlessly. The driver eventually pulled alongside their car and fired a gunshot that struck the woman in the temple. Her husband narrowly avoided being hit as the bullet ricocheted through their vehicle.The injured woman was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center, where she received treatment and was later released.

She is now recovering at home but remains shaken by the near-death encounter. “It’s like he was preying on us,” she said tearfully. “I feel like I’ve been given a second chance at life.”The Broward Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for the shooter and has offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Authorities are urging anyone with dashcam footage or tips to come forward to help solve this disturbing case.
