Judge SHOCKED by Man With Suspended License Joining Court Zoom While Driving
A Michigan judge was left stunned when a defendant joined a virtual court hearing on Zoom while driving a vehicle despite having a suspended license. The incident reportedly occurred during a hearing in Washtenaw County’s 14A District Court.
When Harris appeared on the video call, Judge Simpson immediately noticed he was behind the wheel and asked, “Mr. Harris, are you driving?”
Harris responded that he was pulling into his doctor’s office and parking. However, the Judge was baffled by Harris’s actions, stating, “I don’t even know why he would do that.”
Upon confirming that Harris’s license was indeed suspended, the Judge revoked his bond and ordered him to surrender himself to the Washtenaw County jail by 6 pm that same day. Harris’s public defender reportedly confirmed the charges against him during the hearing.
The bizarre incident quickly went viral on social media, with many users expressing disbelief at Harris’s decision to attend a court hearing for a suspended license while actively driving.
