Gruesome Discovery: Arm in the Passenger Seat
In a stomach-churning turn of events, Texas police made a horrific discovery in the car of a 31-year-old suspect. After allegedly hitting and killing a pedestrian while drunk driving, he then reportedly fled the scene, only to be found later with the victim’s severed arm in his passenger seat.
Drunk Driver’s Alleged Web of Lies: From Patron to Cocaine
When officers reportedly arrived at his workplace, they found his BMW with a gaping hole in the windshield and bloodstains.
The driver, who initially called 911 to report the crash, reportedly exhibited clear signs of intoxication, including glassy eyes and slurred speech and reportedly claimed to have had only one shot of Patron, but later allegedly admitted to cocaine use as well.
Justice Served: Charges and Consequences
The suspect’s blood alcohol level was reportedly recorded at a staggering 0.179, more than twice the legal limit. He now faces felony charges for DWI, allegedly his third offense, and collision involving death. At the time of the incident, the driver was already reportedly on probation for a previous DWI conviction.
A Life Taken Too Soon
The identity of the victim, whose life was brutally cut short, has not been released. This innocent pedestrian’s death serves as a tragic reminder of the destructive nature of drunk driving. As the investigation unfolds, the victim’s loved ones are left to grieve and seek answers.
