Woman Steals HONDA on Test Drive Leads Cops on Chase, Jumps in Lake!
A woman from North Carolina stole a 2024 Honda Civic during a test drive at a dealership in Palmetto Bay, Florida.
She led police on a high-speed chase reaching 90 mph, weaving recklessly through traffic. The chase ended when Logan crashed into multiple vehicles near an exit ramp in Doral.
She then jumped over a concrete barrier and into a nearby lake in an attempt to flee from officers. Police threw ropes to help her out, but she refused and officers had to jump in after her.
During the struggle in the water, the woman scratched a Miami-Dade officer and pushed a Doral officer underwater. One person involved in the crash was injured and hospitalized.
She was eventually arrested and now faces charges including grand theft auto, battery on officers, fleeing and eluding police, leaving the scene of an accident, and resisting arrest. Dramatic dashcam footage captured the entire wild incident.
