Traveler’s Worst Fear: Lost Luggage
A traveler who flew into Hollywood Burbank Airport, experienced every traveler’s worst nightmare when her luggage went missing. Despite being notified that her suitcase had been delivered to her home, her intuition and an Apple AirTag led her to a shocking discovery.
AirTag to the Rescue
Her luggage had taken an unexpected journey of its own, first traveling to Denver, then back to Dallas, and finally ending up back in Burbank, five days after her arrival. However, the woman’s suspicions were raised when she checked the AirTag’s location, which showed her bag slowly moving down Western Avenue in Hollywood, far from her home.
A Sad Discovery
Following the AirTag’s signal, she eventually found her luggage in a homeless encampment near the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Western Avenue. Unfortunately, the bag had been emptied of all its contents, leaving the woman in shock and disbelief.
The man in possession of the bag claimed he had purchased it, and the woman’s friend paid him to retrieve her belongings.
American Airlines Investigates
American Airlines, the carrier reportedly responsible for the woman’s flight is reportedly investigating the matter.
