A mass shooting in Akron, Summit County, Ohio, left 27 people shot, with one 27-year-old man killed.

Multiple victims were hospitalized, and one firearm and several dozen casings were recovered from the scene.

The shooting took place in the area of Kelly and 8th Avenues, with 911 calls flooding in just after midnight.

Hospital staff also reported multiple gunshot wound victims arriving at emergency rooms.

The condition of the surviving victims has not been released, and police are urging anyone with information to contact them, along with Summit County Crimestoppers.
