In one of the biggest heists in Los Angeles history, thieves stole around $30 million in cash from a money storage facility in Sylmar on Easter Sunday. The burglars seemed to have entered through the roof and breached the vault where the cash was stored.

The LAPD and FBI are investigating this daring heist, with investigators scouring the scene for fingerprints, DNA evidence, and surveillance footage from nearby homes. The thieves appeared to be an experienced crew who knew how to bypass the alarm system and gain entry unnoticed.

This massive cash theft surpasses any previous armored car heist in Los Angeles, including the $18.9 million Dunbar Armored robbery in 1997.
