A woman and her daughter in Calhoun County, Alabama, are charged in the shooting of her ex-husband after allegedly faking a home invasion.
The woman reportedly initially claimed to be the victim of a home invasion, stating that her ex-husband had violated a protection order and physically assaulted her.
According to published reports the investigation showed through digital evidence that Ralston misled law enforcement in the events that had taken place.
However, it was later reportedly revealed that she had returned to the home with her daughter, who encountered the ex-husband in a locked bedroom and shot him.
The sheriff stated that the woman had made up the story about the home invasion and shooting. The incident has resulted in both women being charged in connection with the fake home invasion case.
