She suddenly vanished.
The last time she was seen alive was on surveillance cameras inside a RaceTrac gas station in Hollywood.
Police soon discovered her little boy abandoned, wandering near a Miramar apartment complex.
Her father said Leila was a loving mother who would never abandon her child.
Police reported around the time of Cavett’s disappearance that Ryan was seen buying trash bags, duct tape and carpet cleaner. U.S. Marshals arrested Shannon Ryan, who claimed he was the last person who saw Leila Cavett, on Saturday.
[WSVN|VIDEO] A self-proclaimed witch doctor has been arrested in connection to the case of the missing mother from Alabama after he allegedly lied to federal agents.
Ryan, who is also from Alabama and a teacher of witchcraft, according to his Facebook page, posted a video talking about how he was in the center of the missing mom case.
“Why is it you have a missing woman, and the last person that’s seen her, which is me, who talked to the police, you ain’t heard nothing about me,” he said in the Facebook video. [FULLSTORY]
