California Man Found Dead in Backyard Kennel After Being ‘Attacked’ by His Own Pit Bulls: Police

A 35-year-old man in Compton, California, was found dead in his backyard kennel after being attacked by his own pit bulls.

The man, who was believed to have been a pit bull breeder, was discovered in the kennel on a Friday morning. The attack likely occurred while he was feeding the dogs, and he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

The Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control has taken custody of the 13 pit bulls (five adults and eight puppies) found in the backyard.
