Producers Slam Social Media Prankster Who Crashed ‘Oppenheimer’s’ Best Film Award

At the 2024 BAFTA Awards, a social media prankster disrupted the closing segment where ‘Oppenheimer’ received the Best Film accolade.

Security promptly escorted the unnamed individual off the stage. BAFTA expressed serious concern about the incident and stated they do not want to give the person additional attention through commentary.

Reports suggest that the prankster may have previously invaded other prestigious events, documenting these actions on social media platforms.

Notable attendees present during the breach include hosts David Tennant and Michael J. Fox, alongside the ‘Oppenheimer’ production team consisting of director Christopher Nolan, actors Cillian Murphy, and producers Emma Thomas and Charles Roven.

Although initially appearing undetected among the group accepting the award, the situation became clear once everyone exited the stage.
