Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was reportedly hospitalized due to symptoms suggesting an emergent bladder issue.

This hospitalization comes less than a month after he was released from care for complications related to treatment for prostate cancer.

Austin had previously been hospitalized for two weeks following these complications and had returned to work in-person at the Pentagon at the end of January.

Austin’s hospitalization was announced by the Pentagon, and he was taken to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for treatment.
