[PEOPLE|VIDEO] A pair of dogs entered the playground Tuesday afternoon at Willard Intermediate South during recess and attacked students and teachers.
A total of 21 individuals — 18 students and three teachers — were injured, though most were minor.
Three teachers and three students sustained bites, scratches and other injuries that required medical attention. They were transported by ambulance to local hospitals.
The director of communications and public relations, said not all of the injuries were caused by the dogs. Many of the students were injured in the melee that followed.
