In Dramatic Caught On Camera Encounter South Lake Tahoe Police Shoot Bear With Bean Bag Round. Officers arrived and tried to get the bear to move along with loud noises but said that didn’t work. They ultimately shot the bear with a bean bag to scare it off.
Authorities told KCRA 3 that these calls are becoming more common among tourists visiting the area. They recommend people avoid contact and try to scare the bears off when they are spotted.
