[WESH|VIDEO] Police have released chilling 911 audio made by a Florida woman who allegedly confessed to stabbing her 3-year-old daughter to death.

NBC Miami reports it happened in North Miami Beach on Tuesday morning.
“I just killed my daughter,” said 24-year-old Jellisa Amoya Baxter on the 911 call.

When the dispatcher asked how she killed her daughter, Baxter responded, “I tried strangling her. That didn’t work, so I stabbed her with a knife.”

WSVN reports that upon arrival, responding officers discovered the little girl’s body lying on the floor in the living room with “several deep stab wounds” to her chest, neck and face. The toddler was pronounced dead at the scene.
Baxter’s stepfather Harold Hemmings said the woman didn’t seem like a bad mother.
