An actress and a hairdresser feigned friendship with a wealthy doctor, moved into his beachfront home in Malibu, Calif., and plied him with drugs including marijuana and LSD while defrauding him of at least $3 million, according to a federal indictment unsealed this week.
The two face a range of criminal charges accusing them of duping the ailing physician and bilking him of more than $2.7 million before his death, the Justice Department said. [FULLSTORY]
