[SCAMS EXPOSED] If You Don’t Keep Track Of What You Ordered Online Scammers Are Ready To Pounce – How To Keep Safe | VIDEO

[WXYZ|VIDEO] Fake text or email scams still keep happening. And as we are heading into the holiday shopping
Season, you need to be on guard.

According to a recent Marist poll, 76% of American adults say they’re going to be shopping online this year.

That means a lot of packages and shipping. If you don’t keep track of what you ordered, scammers are ready to pounce.

A viewer of sister station WGAL News 8 received a text message that appeared to be from the U.S. Postal Service.

The message claims an item couldn’t be delivered because the house number was written incorrectly.

The viewer was told to click a link and provide credit card information because there was a $1 re-delivery fee.
The real postal service will not request a payment to redeliver a package. [FULLSTORY]
