Parkland School Killer Nikolas Cruz Called ‘Creature,’ ‘Animal,’ ‘Hateful Bigot’ Before Handed 34 Life Sentences | VIDEO

[CBS12|VIDEO] Parkland school killer Nikolas Cruz has formally received 34 life sentences in prison, 17 for murder and 17 for attempted murder.

Circuit Court Judge Elizabeth Scherer also ordered the sentences she imposed “run consecutive to one another” and then had Cruz “remanded to the custody of the Department of Corrections.”

Before handing down the sentences, she spent more than five minutes addressing the victims’ families, thanking them for sharing their stories.

“The way you have grieved so gracefully,” the judge said about them.
She added, she appreciated their restraint and said about the victims, “They will not be forgotten.” [FULLSTORY]
