FIRST REPORT: [FOX45] Law enforcement officials and the FBI are responding to a “barricade situation” Sunday morning at the Fort Belvoir Army Base in Virginia. [MORE HERE]

UPDATE: [WUSA9] The FBI said in a statement that their Washington Field Office’s National Capital Response Squad is working with other law enforcement agencies at the scene, where WUSA9 witnessed military police and a military SWAT vehicle in the area.

UPDAT [WUSA9]: Person in custody following 7-hour long barricade situation at Fort Belvoir in VirginiaThe situation was resolved, and a person was taken into custody just before 3 p.m., the agency said. The FBI WFO is providing victim assistance services.
